We are currently recruiting for an hourly paid Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for keeping production & Plant machinery in service as well as downtime to a minimum. The role is to work as part of a team covering 24/7 demands of the business.

Maintenance Engineer Overview
In this role you will comply with all HSE policies and procedures, ensuring that engineering records are accurately maintained & presented in a timely manner.
You will be carrying out electrical diagnostic work on PLC systems, Implementing & supporting rapid breakdown fault finding & rectification, recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Responsible for breakdowns, fault finding & repairing complex machinery & ancillaries; PLC’s / Controls SIEMENS. Assisting with the focussed improvement team.
Working on 3 phase electrical systems & operations, Initiating improvement in practices, Systems & procedures. Mechanical maintenance.
About you!
- Electrical / Mechanical qualifications
- Time served engineering apprenticeship
- Trouble shoot & repair equipment & systems which include Electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic, hydraulic
- Several years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Welding qualification
- Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery
- Accountable and flexible
- Integrity under pressure

- Good understanding of engineering principles
- Be able to carry out PPM on machinery.
